Mahakala will be our home away from home. It's an oasis of calm on Montenegro's coast nestled in the lush greenery of the mountains overlooking the ocean. Surrounded by the four elements of earth, air, sun and water, the setting provides an optimal space for healing. Located on a steep hill between the local mountainside houses, only a 15-minute walk from the local beach. The facilities include; spacious shala with mountain & sea views, plant based restaurant, rooftop relaxation area with jacuzzi, zen garden, outdoor bathtubs, lounge area and a spa area.
Sustainability and taking care of the earth is one of Mahakala’s main values. The kitchen is fully plant based with a no waste policy, they grow their own food in our an organic garden and source the remaining from local organic farms, they source all of our water from the mountain springs, have a bioseptic sewage system, use solar to power our hot water system and have also created our own recycling and compost system. Additionally, they have decided to put their profits into building a conservation project in hopes to conserve the beautiful Buljarica Cove which serves as a sanctuary for the local wildlife. Mahakala is a place of healing, friendship, community & living in harmony with nature.

Helen Phelan is comprehensively certified in both mat and apparatus pilates, a certified Institute of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and Intuitive Eating™ coach in training. Helen has been teaching movement in NYC for 10 years and is the founder of Women's Health Magazine FitTech award winning online pilates platform, Helen Phelan Studio. Her classes are equal parts rigorous and restorative with muscle quaking pilates sequencing paired with luxurious counter stretching so you walk out feeling both invigorated and grounded. off the mat, she's filling her camera roll with pictures of her rescue pup, clumsily learning to speak French, attempting to bake, hoarding ceramic mugs, or hiking in the Catskills
CELIA POLYZOU
Fascinated by anatomy and biomechanics, and inspired by the magic of slow living, Celia left LA's music industry to explore the principles of movement and mindfulness. Celia is an Advanced Therapeutic Practitioner, Master Instructor and Teacher Trainer with more than 2000+ hours of training in Pilates, Yoga, and Mindfulness Meditation. She has collaborated with major brands such as Coachella Music Festival, Outdoor Voices, Acqua Panna, Ace Hotel, Neuehouse and more. She is currently splitting her time between NYC and her homeland, Greece

Refunds and Cancellation
Our refund policy is as follows:
Trip Changes
You can change a trip date or destination as long as it is 75 days or more before your original trip’s start date. If you do not rebook a trip immediately you will have a credit that expires in 12 months. If a guest cancels less than 75 days prior to the retreat, only their deposit may be applied towards another retreat. If a guest leaves during the retreat, there will be no refund.
Cancellation & Refunds
All payments are non-refundable should you decide to cancel your booking. We do not offer refunds. If you need to change or cancel your trip and you give us at least 75 days notice, any payments made to Wildly Well Retreats will convert into a credit that you can use within the next 12 months to book another retreat. If a guest cancels less than 75 days prior to the retreat, only their deposit may be applied towards another retreat. If a guest leaves during the retreat, there will be no refund. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of your booking so you are protected in the event you need to cancel with less than 75 days notice.
Cancellation by Wildly Well
Wildly Well reserves the right to cancel any trip or part of the trip. In this event we will provide retreat credit, which will be valid for two years. If Wildly Well cancels a retreat for any reason, including Force Majeure, Wildly Well is not responsible for loss of funds in association with travel accommodations made by the guest.
You are more than welcome to travel solo. In fact we encourage it! However, if you are planning to travel with a friend you can request them as a roommate on retreat and we will do our best to accommodate the request.

WIFI is available, however, for limited hours each day. We encourage guests to disconnect in order to connect deeper with themselves, mother earth, and those around them.

October is enjoyable autumn month, with an average temperature varying between 18.4°C (65.1°F) and 12.2°C (54°F). Its sunny skies and crisp temperature make hikes and outdoor movement sessions very enjoyable. If evenings are chilly it is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the hot tub or a flower essence bath. Rain is also a possibility at this time of the year. Make sure to pack a rain jacket just in case.
You can enhance your time in Montenegro by booking a massage, flower essence flower, or taking a trip to nearby towns such as Kotor or Perast.
